ElaN Belgium employs a permanent staff of 30 and a team of 1500 freelance translators and language consultants.

Independent, but not alone.

As an ElaN franchise you can expand your range of services immediately by offering our exclusive and company-specific training courses and services. You become a self-employed and independent entrepreneur working under the ElaN flag.
Moreover you will also be able to take advantage of our company infrastructure, which offers extensive training, marketing and administrative support among others. As franchisee you head up your own company, but with considerably less risk and teething problems than if you were to do the same thing on your own. ElaN franchisees are independent, but not alone.

ElaN International

ElaN has worked long and hard over the years and invested important sums of money in automation. We now believe that the time has come for us to make this expertise available internationally. When it comes to technology, there is no doubt that ElaN has a significant competitive lead both at home and internationally. What we want to do now is spread our expertise globally via an international franchising policy so that we can maintain and enhance this leading position for the group as a whole.

The first steps towards setting up an international network were taken at the beginning of 2007. This was when we opened three satellite offices in three major growth markets: ElaN France, in Pierrelatte (South France), ElaN Moscow in Russia and ElaN Asia Ltd. in Beijing. These were just the first steps on the road of a challenging mission to create an extensive professional and global network. 

Which products and services can I offer as an ElaN franchisee?

• LANGUAGE TRAINING – practical, interactive, customised language training courses. Individual or in small groups of maximum six people.
• LANGUAGE IMMERSION COURSES – Participants are given intensive training in the language of their choice over a short period of time. Intense and Intensive.
• WORKSHOPS – Specialised language training courses customised to specific work situations: negotiations, holding meetings, making presentations, handling complaints, etc.
• TRANSLATIONS – Specialised translations in any target language and using terminology that is specific to your area of specialisation.
• INTERPRETING – Simultaneous and consecutive, at conferences or in business or industrial situations.

In-depth training for you

All our franchisees receive in-depth training from our own trainers. We will teach you essential sales methods and provide you with support out in the field. After seven days of intensive training you will have acquired the knowledge, insight and skills you need to get off to a successful start. And no need to worry about materials; we will provide you with all the manuals, exercises, PowerPoint presentations, scenarios for training courses etc. Everything you need for your own successful courses. When you become a franchisee moreover, you become a member of the ElaN family; and we treat you like family. We will give you all the support you need, when you need it. We will work alongside you and provide you with assistance so that your company is assured of optimal growth. And we will help you implement new and improved programmes. You couldn’t ask for more.

I’m a self-employed trainer; can I become an ElaN franchisee?

Without a doubt. In fact if you are already working in training and coaching in the business community (not necessarily self-employed), you actually have an advantage. If the methods you use in your training programmes are similar to ours you will be able to use your training programmes within our system.

• When you start up we’ll help you establish a sound company structure as well as helping you draw up quotes for prospective clients, we’ll provide you with computer software, the use of the website and will answer any administrative queries you may have.
