Employees who work in a financial environment and communicate in English on a regular basis.

Aim:
Communicating in a financial context is more than just knowing the correct technical term in English: as financial expert you should also master a certain number of specific skills. This workshop also combines skills like negotiation, presentation and reporting with financial topics which are relevant to you and your job.

The programme will be made to measure in accordance with your specific language needs
The following topics are possible:
- present annual accounts
- make a budget presentation
- consult with internal auditors
- execute a financial evaluation of new products
- justify an investment
- read and understand financial reports
- understand stock exchange terminology
- draft and/or read English letters, reports, annual accounts and other financial-administrative items.
- master terminology from the banking, stocks and/or insurance world
- negotiate in the framework of a takeover, contract, …
Approach:
The coach will hand you language tools which will help you to function better in a financial context. Which structures, key sentences and terminology are indispensable? How do you fine-tune your vocabulary even more to the specific situation? Next, the theory is practised in simulations and role-play exercises.
