ElaN Languages organises the official “Business English“ exams for the LCCI (finance, tourism, business administration,...). And we also provide the preparatory courses in either Belgium, England or in Russia.
As a recognised exam centre, ElaN Languages awards certificates that are recognised worldwide.

English increasingly dominates the international business world. That is especially apparent in the European Union with its many languages and cultures. And that makes it really important that you can make yourself properly understood in English - getting the message right. After all, the slightest language slip can have major implications for you and your company.
How?
We are introducing an intensive course of 1 or 2 weeks. We will be concentrating in the course on business language skills: presentations, telephone conversations, meetings, negotiations, sales & marketing, cultural differences and correspondence.
Various media will be used, such as telephone systems, videos, video cameras, authentic business materials, newspapers and audiocassettes. Using these attributes, we will create a realistic working environment. We will be helping you to use English as professionally and efficiently as possible. Our method is based on role-plays, recording your progress on tape, discussions and workshops.
We offer an intensive consulting service!
We know from experience that speaking is a very difficult skill to master. The workshops and training sessions will focus on conversations. Our consultants are qualified professionals with experience in the business world.
You can certainly expect personalised coaching. It is important to us to know what your situation is, what kind of job you do and what you see as your language needs!
We are there for you!
To be able to guarantee this individualised approach, we will work in small groups of maximally 5 participants. Some people prefer to work with a private consultant and therefore we are also offering that option.

SEFIC exam? - “Spoken English for Industry and Commerce”
SEFIC was introduced 30 years ago at the request of the Chamber of Commerce. The SEFIC exam is an assessment of practical speaking and listening skills for professional and business purposes. The candidates are evaluated on their ability to communicate efficiently in a social and professional setting.
The SEFIC exams consist of face-to-face-interviews with trained external LCCI examiners. The interviews include a combination of tasks, e.g. general conversation, response to instructions, images, written or recorded materials, role-plays, presentations and discussions.
The exams are set at 5 levels, from Beginner to level 4 (Advanced). The levels are linked to the Common European Framework for Languages.
The exams are held on the south coast of England, in Belgium (ElaN Languages) and the Netherlands.
